Deadline Digital has used the power of film – in collaboration with Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust (CHFT) – to showcase Person-Centred Care in practice across its hospital and community sites.
Over the course of two filming days, the team captured hundreds of moments, spanning hospital wards, corridors, kitchens, A&E, and community healthcare – mirroring the style of a previous award-winning #TeamCHFT film produced in 2023.

Bringing Person-Centred Care to life
Using b-roll footage and on-screen captions, the film highlights what Person-Centred Care truly means:
“Understanding what matters most to the person, and ensuring they are supported to make decisions about their care and treatment which we respond to, act upon, communicate, and respect.”
From pharmacy and occupational therapy to surgery staff and even the Chief Nurse, every role in healthcare is represented, reinforcing that Person-Centred Care is a collective effort.
The response to the film has been overwhelmingly positive:
“It’s great – covers all settings, and the quotes really add to the depth as they come from real people.”
National Institute of Clinical Excellence
“It’s really lovely, we will share it.”
Calderdale Local Authority
“The breadth of staff taking part, and taking the time to interact with patients, is really special to see.”
HealthWatch
“The attention to detail is really good and shows respect… I love that the community nurse has taken her shoes off between arriving and speaking to the patient.”

“This film has been a privilege to work on, and really captures the dedication and compassion at the heart of CHFT. Seeing the feedback from high profile organisations has been fantastic and is testament to the hard work put in by both the team here at Deadline Digital and at CHFT.”
