Two, world-renowned international space communication conferences have been jointly held in the UK for the first time.
Delegates from top space agencies such as NASA, the European Space Agency, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and many others gathered at the University of Bradford for the globally acclaimed event.
Featuring on the double-bill was the 28th KA and Broadband Communications Conference and the 40th International Communications Satellite Systems Colloquium.
Video production experts Deadline Digital was at hand to film the conference and produced a three minute video with a next-day turn around.
University of Bradford alumnus Dr Murthy Renduchintala attended the event. His generous multi-million pound donation to the university in 2022 founded the Bradford-Renduchintala Centre for Space AI.

“Our goal is to be a globally recognised centre of excellence in the field of satellite technology. The fact we are hosting this conference means our ambitions are already being realised.”

The Deadline Digital team filmed panel talks, key note speeches, delegates networking as well as interviewing big names within the space industry.
The conference explored topics like NASA’s ground-breaking Artemis mission to the Moon and Mars, direct cellular to satellite mobile services, 6G and how we could use artificial intelligence in space.
The three day conference was held in different locations across Bradford, with the first day hosted by the University of Bradford.
